Vacation in Argentina

Everyone’s heard of Buenos Aires, but seeing it is a completely different experience. Your very first night, you should go to We Are Tango, a beautiful dinner theatre where you get to taste and see the culture simultaneously. If you’d like a different kind of performance you can also check out Teatro Colon, one of the most popular theatres in the city. Take a stroll through Paseo del Rosedal, the garden of your dreams and then to see the culture up close and personal how you’ve never imagined, travel through the neighborhood called Recoleta. It’s stunning, and you’ll find plenty of photo opportunities along the way.
San Carlos
If you’re more interested in outdoor physical activities and sports, go hiking in San Carlos at Cerro Tronador, where you get to see the mountains and the volcanos. Don’t forget your hiking boots and coat. It can be nippy. Go skiing at Pierdas Blancas, and in the evening go down to Puerty Blest to be on the water in a bit of a warmer climate. If you prefer cycling, head over to Circuito Chico, and if you like sailing you can do that too at Cau Cau Catamaranes. San Carlos is the perfect city for the destination traveler looking to spend a lot of time outdoors taking in the adventures.
Mar del Plata
Mar del Plata is a great place to see some historical culture. Start with Torre Tanque if you like museums and head over to the Mar del Plata Cathedral if you want to check out the religious beauty that Argentina has to offer. That’s not all it has to offer, however. Take a drive through Laguna de los Padres, and then head to Aquasol Water Park for some fun in the water! If you’re interested in art, go to Museo Municipal de Arte Juan C. Castagnino before heading to Playa Varese to tan on the beach.
Ushuaia
In Ushuaia go to Tierra del Fuego National Park to see the land and the water and be one with nature. If you haven’t had enough water by that point, go to Laguna Esmeralda or Beagle Channel. You can even bike along the water at Ushuaia Bay and afterward take a gander at Martial Glacier if you’d like to see a glacier up close and personal. Head over to the lighthouse San Juan de Salvamento, and then go to The End of The world Museum to see what it has to offer. You’ll be sure to have a great time, but only go to Ushuaia if you love the water, because there’s a lot of it!
Salta
For a world of museums and landmarks to add to some outdoor spots add a trip to Salta to your list. Start with MAAM (history museum) and then go to the Cathedral. Afterward, you’ll be tired of indoors and you should go to the mountain, Cuesta del Obispo or Cerro San Bernardo. If you want to take a drive to take in the scenes go to the Safari to the Clouds, and if you’d like to see a wonderful landmark go to Plaza 9 de Julio.
El Calafate
El Calafate is another place for people who are interested in geology and water. Start with the Upsala Glacier and then head over to Lago Argentino. Another glacier option would be Perito Moreno Glacier, which will have you in awe, as well as it being a natural park. You get to walk on the glacier itself, which is always a wonderful experience for those who dare to try it. Have a Safari Experience at Patagonia Profunda, and then head over to Glacarium to have an indoor and education glacier experience (if you’ve taken a liking of them). Finish your trip on horseback at Cabalgata del Glacier!
